Director of Collections
Seeking a Director of Collections for creditor’s rights law firm in Oxford. This individual will have strong managerial, analytical and communication skills with a dedicated customer service approach and a proven background managing process controls and performance in a dynamic environment. Must be knowledgeable in the debt collection industry.
Job Duties
- ·Management of 15 – 20 collection associates and staff
- Responsible for compliance including policies and procedures, fulfilment of client work standards, management of client deliverables and all aspects of auditing oversight.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding goals of the company and its clients
- Monthly goal setting and manage weekly client projections/forecast
- Manage client inventory
- Perform call quality audits
- Conduct follow-up procedures to ensure compliance with established industry and regulatory standards
- Ad-hoc special projects as needed.

- Knowledge of debt collection laws and experience in debt collection or financial industry preferred
- Knowledge of all Federal & State laws and rules regarding credit and collections, including regulatory compliance, Regulation F, FDCPA, UCC, Privacy, Regulation E, FCRA, Americans With Disabilities Act, Truth in Lending Act, and Vendor Oversight.
- Ability to review and analyze complaint and dispute matters and determine the best course of action
- Ability to development policies and procedures for regulatory compliance and training
- Experience in conducting monitoring and assessing risk associated with regulatory compliance issues.
Compensation
- Salary based upon skills and experience (Base of $60k-$70k + substantial bonus)

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CST; Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm CST
