Marketing Manager
Job Duties:
- Oversees the daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department’s activities.
- The Marketing & Sales Manager in coordination with the Director will assist in developing and executing all marketing and communications efforts of the organization, including:
- social media
- public relations
- press release writing & distribution
- marketing materials
- graphic design
- website updates
Responsibilities:
- assist in planning, organizing, and implementing of events as requested
- social media content planning, scheduling, and posting
- attend area events and industry conferences as requested
- develop and implement: new marketing initiatives, campaigns, annual marketing plan
- work closely with membership manager
- develop and implement membership marketing strategy, creation of marketing collateral and sales support tools, promote membership
- prepare and deliver presentations
- video production, including film, edit, and distribute
- use graphic design software to create assets for marketing initiatives and campaigns
- develop and implement marketing materials for all awarded grant deliverables
- measure and report results on marketing initiatives and campaigns
- maintain a knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices
Requirements:
- degree in Communications, Marketing, or closely related field
- strong work ethic
- detail oriented
- effective time management, organization, and leadership skills
- familiarity with social media trends
- proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, including an exceptional understanding of grammar, usage, and vocabulary
- strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent customer service skills
