Network Systems Manager

Seeking a skilled Network Systems Manager for a successful company based in Ridgeland. This individual is responsible for installation and maintaining the LAN/WAN, wireless, telephony and video operations infrastructure. Such responsibilities will include: Hardware and software installations, system upgrades, firewall management, creation of system documentation, daily administration and problem resolution, as well as assisting staff and users in problem resolution relating to hardware, software, and communication issues.

S/he will participate in the design, planning and installation of the infrastructure to support new applications and technologies and thereafter play a key role in the maintenance of such tools. This position will work in correlation with the Applications and IT Support Manager and the Security and Systems Administration Manager as key support for all network environments across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Implement and maintain network security protocols
• Collaborate with IT team to optimize network usage and efficiency
• Develop and implement network policies and procedures
• Manage network upgrades and expansions
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years LAN/WAN network management experience in a multi-platform environment supporting multiple locations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of network planning
