Position: UI Designer

Location: Ridgeland, MS (Hybrid within ~3-hour radius)

Compensation: $65,000–$85,000

Reports To: Director of Web Development

Overview

Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a UI Designer/Web Designer for a wellestablished marketing agency.  This role focuses on designing modern, highperforming web experiences and applications for a variety of digital products. The ideal candidate is a strong designer first, with bonus points for coding experience or a willingness to grow technically. This is a collaborative, hands-on role working closely with developers and leadership on meaningful software and web projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces for websites, applications, and digital products
• Own the look and feel of webbased platforms and software applications
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
• Contribute to UI standards, component libraries, and design consistency across projects
• Participate in project planning and creative discussions with cross-functional teams
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability considerations, and technical constraints

Qualifications

• Strong experience in UI and web design
• Solid understanding of modern web design principles and best practices
• Experience designing for applications and software products is a major plus
• Bonus: working knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or front-end frameworks
• Open to candidates who are:
• Strong designers with some coding exposure OR
• Strong coders who are eager to be trained further in web/UI design
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid role preferred
• Candidates must be within approximately a 3-hour radius of Ridgeland, MS
• Occasional in-office collaboration required
