Service Specialists is recruiting a Staff Accountant on behalf of a growing investment company that specializes in outdoor recreational real estate and land development. They’re looking for an early-career accountant who wants to grow alongside the business. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to multiple companies, industries, and business models while working directly with leadership in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for multiple business entities
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Prepare journal entries and support financial reporting
• Help monitor cash flow and budgets
• Assist with accounting for retail, hospitality, real estate, and investment operations
• Support process improvements as the company continues to grow
• Jump into special projects and help wherever needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years experience in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing company
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Strong Excel and organizational skills
