What are the benefits of using a recruiting and staffing agency? 

Recruiting new employees internally is a costly and time-consuming process for organizations. At Service Specialists, we consider ourselves a “Fast Pass” to top talent. Instead of waiting on the rides at Disney World and wasting precious time, money, and energy, quickly get access to your ride and use our services to get qualified candidates for the role so you can focus on doing your job!

We use significant resources to source candidates and have a strong, reputable network in various industries. We are “in the know” and operate as a middleman between the jobseeker and job opportunities, so our pulse on the local market is extremely valuable. We make sure we find candidates that have not only the hard skills needed for your positions, but are a culture fit for the company. We vet every candidate we send and make sure their salary expectations, hard skills, work environment needs, and values align with your company. We screen, interview and vet all candidates before sending, and our team can even conduct reference checks, background checks and drug tests. 

Payment for our services with a permanent placement is solely contingent on your company hiring a candidate we send with a 90-day guarantee, or a full refund. Also, our contract is not exclusive, so you have nothing to lose by inquiring about our services. Since 1967, we have successfully recruited everything from small mom and pop businesses to Fortune 500 companies with talent acquisition and human resources departments. How does payment work for the company? 

For temporary assignments (or “temp”), the employee is a W2 employee on Service Specialists payroll.  We charge a set bill rate to the hourly pay, which covers all onboarding costs, state and federal taxes, workers comp, etc. We do all the human resources and onboarding legwork. All you have to do is give us the position and we will have your candidates ready for review and employees ready to work on day one!

Permanent placement assignments are typically salaried, high-level employees. For this, we charge a percentage of first year’s salary and payment is solely contingent on if the company hires a candidate we send. There is a 90-day guarantee with a full refund if the candidate doesn’t work out.

What should I expect in the process of using Service Specialists?

For Temp (hourly employees)

We work with many companies in the industrial and manufacturing space with temp assignments successfully placing hundreds of employees a year.  In this assignment, we want to intimately understand your company and foster a relationship so we can serve you well in finding the best candidates that meet your company’s expectations and values.  In this assignment, the hire is a W2 employee on Service Specialists payroll.  We charge a set bill rate to the hourly pay, which covers all onboarding costs, state and federal taxes, workers comp, etc. We do all the human resources and onboarding legwork. For Permanent Placement (salaried employees)

Once you reach out to inquire about a job requisition, our team is on it! We will ask questions to understand the position and company intimately. The more information you can give us by describing your company goals, culture, work environment, ideal candidate, salary range, benefits, job description, etc., the better our search will be. 

Once we get a signed contract from you, we will send potential candidates for the role. You can review the individuals and choose to move forward in the interview process with the candidate(s) you so choose.

Why should I choose Service Specialists?

Is the Service Specialists contract exclusive?

No! We are not exclusive and wouldn’t recommend any recruiting agency that is. Payment for our fee is solely contingent on if we send the best candidate that your company hires.

What if the candidate we place from you doesn’t work out? 

If it is a temp assignment, we will replace that person in the role immediately. If it is a permanent placement, you can get a full refund if the person doesn’t work out within 90 days.

What other services does Service Specialists provide? 

We have additional services to offer employers including subject matter expert consultation, mystery shopping, outplacement services, salary surveys, leadership employee program, HR services, etc. We also offer referral rewards for recommended candidates who receive placement!
