Human Resources Manager
Location:
 Remote (Based in Tupelo or Oxford, MS)
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 DOE + Full Benefits

Service Specialists is recruiting on behalf of a successful, multi-location medical organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. This can be fully remote, or in-office in Tupelo, MS or Oxford, MS. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations. This this individual will play a key role in talent acquisition, payroll administration, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR systems. Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through onboarding for positions across multiple clinic locations.
  • Partner with leaders to identify hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding while ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Process payroll-related changes, including PTO, reimbursements, employee updates, and deductions.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, COBRA, and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, HR policies, and workplace guidance.
  • Maintain HRIS records and support ongoing system optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and healthcare regulations.
  • Support performance management initiatives and assist leaders with employee documentation.
  • Maintain employee records, training documentation, certifications, and HR reporting.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Healthcare or multi-location experience is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and confidentiality.
