Job Description

Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of a successful organization based in Oxford. This individual is responsible for processing invoices, coordinating vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely completion of accounts payable activities across multiple business locations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of transactions while balancing competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Process invoices and payment requests in a timely manner
  • Enter and maintain accounts payable transactions within the accounting system
  • Coordinate vendor payments and respond to payment inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Research and resolve invoice, payment, and account issues
  • Support audit requests by providing required documentation
  • Work closely with practice managers and internal departments to ensure accurate payment processing
  • Manage accounts payable functions for multiple dental practice locations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
  • Experience processing high-volume invoices preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Salary: $42,000–$45,000, depending on experience + Benefits
