BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

A well-established home care organization with a 30-year presence in the Memphis market is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead strategic growth throughout Shelby County.

This is an opportunity for a polished, relationship-driven professional to leverage an established brand, strengthen key healthcare partnerships, and develop new opportunities for growth.

In This Role

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for Shelby County
• Build relationships with hospital executives, healthcare administrators, physicians, senior living leadership, and other key referral partners
• Identify and pursue high-value referral and partnership opportunities
• Strengthen existing relationships while developing new strategic partnerships
• Create a consistent strategy for prospecting, follow-up, and referral conversion
• Track referral activity, pipeline development, and business development results
• Represent the organization at strategic healthcare and community events

About You

• Proven success in healthcare business development or referral-based sales
• Strong understanding of the healthcare referral landscape
• Experience building relationships with executive and senior-level decision makers
• Memphis/Shelby County healthcare relationships are highly valued
• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable personally developing new business
• Strong networking, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Professional, self-directed, and motivated by measurable growth
