Service Specialists is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the Richland, MS area that is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of key financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance

• Prepare and file sales, payroll, and other tax reports

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit & loss statements

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

• Assist with month-end and year-end close

• Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong experience with AP, AR, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
