Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location:Oxford, MS preferred | Remote flexibility available for the right candidate
Salary: $65k-$85k

Service Specialists is recruiting for a highly specialized Commercial Real Estate Paralegal opportunity with a respected law firm. This is a niche role requiring prior commercial real estate and title experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position can be based in Oxford, Mississippi, but remote flexibility may be considered for candidates with the right background and experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Review and analyze commercial real estate title work
• Plot property from metes and bounds legal descriptions
• Draft title commitments, proforma policies, and endorsements in accordance with underwriting guidelines
• Analyze title commitments, encumbrances, easements, and survey matters to identify discrepancies and provide corrections
• Read survey matters into title commitments
• Draft closing documents, settlement statements, and disbursement schedules
• Assist with commercial real estate closings
• Produce owner and loan title insurance policies and related endorsements
• Prepare date-down endorsements to existing title policies
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, title underwriters, abstractors, surveyors, vendors, and opposing counsel

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in commercial real estate law and/or title work is REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with Clio or similar legal management systems is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn and adapt to internal systems and processes
