Employees Help Stock the Army Corps of Engineers Museum Aquarium in Vicksburg, MS

Vicksburg, MS – January 22, 2013 – Employees at the Army Corps of Engineers Museum, in Vicksburg, help stock the museum aquarium with fish native to the Lower Mississippi River Basin.  The aquarium is just one of the many exhibits available to visitors at the museum located at 910 Washington Street, in Vicksburg.

Service Specialists and General Dynamics Information Technology Announce Mentor-Protégé Agreement

Ridgeland, MS – May 17, 2011 –Service Specialist, an 8(a)-certified, woman-owned Small Disadvantaged Business based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, today announced a Mentor-Protégé agreement with General Dynamics Information Technology, a Fairfax, Virginia based company.  This agreement is part of the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Mentor Protégé Program.  Service Specialists’ experience in meeting immediate needs in the homeland security and emergency management arena includes developing, launching, and staffing a FEMA Call Center after Hurricane Katrina hit the MS Gulf Coast and providing support for information technology needs throughout the southeast.
