Human Resources Generalist

Seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a growing manufacturing company opening a new facility in Nettleton, MS. Our client is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to join their team during this exciting launch phase. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor and play a key role in helping build the workforce from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead onboarding and orientation efforts for 40+ new employees prior to the facility’s opening
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Manage employee records and HRIS data entry
• Provide support for recruitment, interviews, and hiring efforts
• Serve as a resource for employee relations, benefits, and company policies
• Partner closely with leadership to support a strong workplace culture and smooth start-up operations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a start-up environment
• Experience with onboarding processes and HR systems preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Location: Nettleton, MS (on-site)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: Base Salary $60k-$65k + benefits
