A publicly traded company headquartered in the Southeast is seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a confidential search conducted by Service Specialists recruiting agency.
We are looking for a proven financial leader with extensive public company experience, a deep understanding of SEC reporting and SOX compliance, and the ability to drive financial strategy and performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and investor relations.

Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Oversee preparation and submission of 10-Ks, 10-Qs, earnings reports, and other public filings.

Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape strategic direction and long-term financial planning.

Maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Manage internal finance teams and support M&A, capital market transactions, and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications:

CPA required
-
15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, with at least 5 years as a CFO or senior finance executive at a public company

Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and SEC reporting

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, public company governance, and corporate finance

Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Compensation:
$300,000 – $350,000 base salary, plus performance bonus, and benefits.
