Contracts Administrator
Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a Contracts Administrator for a successful construction company headquartered in Jackson. This position has flexible hours from 9:00-3:00 Monday-Thursday and off on Fridays. As a Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the In-House Counsel and help manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents. This role requires exceptional a proactive individual with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, including but not limited to construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate contract approvals and execution processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
- Facilitate communication between internal departments, external partners, and legal counsel regarding contract matters.
- Manage contract change requests, amendments, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor contract performance and deadlines.
- Assist in resolving contract disputes and issues as they arise.
- Handle various administrative tasks related to contracts and legal documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in contract administration or a similar role preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
