We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our clients healthcare team. Duties
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Provide patient education regarding medication use, potential side effects, and pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in acute care settings to develop and implement individualized medication plans.
- Utilize pharmacy software for managing prescriptions, inventory control, and patient records.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and protocols.
- Maintain aseptic technique during the preparation of sterile products and compounding of medications.
- Stay informed about new medications, therapies, and clinical guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Experience
Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Previous experience in clinical pharmacy or acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is essential. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are critical for success in this role.
