Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a Sales Manager to train, motivate and lead a local sales team selling digital advertisements in both the Jackson Metro area, and MS Gulf Coast. The ideal candidate must possess strong sales and leadership skills and have a proven history of success in sales and sales leadership. This individual must also have exceptional skills in coaching and training sellers who can build relationships and achieve radio and digital sales objectives. Organization and written and oral communication expertise are also a must, and the candidate must understand how to effectively identify, develop, and present customized solutions to clients.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in outside media sales
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in sales team management preferred
- College Degree preferred
- Basic proficiency of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Strong sales acumen and proficiency in all phases of the sales cycle and new account development and management required
- Experience developing and selling digital advertising and marketing campaigns preferred
- Ability to lead sellers in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proven experience growing and maintaining a sales team’s portfolio
Base salary of $60k with uncapped commission. At plan is $100k.
