David Martin

dmartin@servicespecialistltd.comAfter playing football for Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi, David graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville with a degree in Industrial Technology.
He worked in senior management positions, as a plant manager and logistics manager with Ergon and several different plastics and logistics companies, before he and his wife, Deborah, landed at Service Specialists.
David has been Service Specialists’s Vice President since 1998. He handles the temporary side of the business, and most of his customers are in the industrial arena, where his prior experience comes in handy when recruiting and placing staff.
David has enjoyed competing in triathlons for years. He loves riding his bike and running, but honestly, he is not very good at the swimming part. (He’s getting better though!)
He loves to be outdoors hunting—ducks, deer, and turkeys beware! This year he will begin his first year harvesting crawfish at High Road Refuge. He can’t wait to battle the snakes, weather, and mud for the harvest.
It’s his joy to spend time with his grandchildren, who lovingly call him “Davey”. He and Deborah are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, but they attend both Flora First Baptist Church and Oxford Baptist Church when they are in the area.
